Summer Camp 2017
Dear Scout Leaders,
Our Camping Committee and Director recently made changes to our 2017 program in order to provide a better experience overall and to not diminish the purpose of the programs. To that end we will not be operating our Backwoodsmen program in 2017, but will relaunch in 2018 with an all new and exciting program. We have also suspended our Lifeguard classes during the weeks. We will be offering classes during the year through our Aquatics committee. I understand this may be an inconvenience for some and we greatly apologize for this miscommunication.
Please contact us at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org with any further questions.
Yours in Scouting,
Matt Compton and Daniel Garcia
Summer camp is a week-long scouting experience where Boy Scouts can earn several merit badges of their choice while camping with their friends in their Troop. This gives the Scouts the chance to take part in activities that they might normally have trouble finding such as climbing courses, archery, or even just learning to swim. At the same time, this gives them a chance to break away from the modern tech obsessed world to enjoy the timeless experience of living on the edge of the wilderness. Boy Scout summer camp is the experience every Scouter should enjoy as they move forward in the program.
Camp will be in session during the following weeks.
Week 1: June 18-24, 2017
Week 2: June 25-July 1, 2017
Week 3: July 2-8, 2017
Week 4: July 9 -15, 2017
