Summer Camp 2016

Summer camp is a week-long scouting experience where Boy Scouts can earn several merit badges of their choice while camping with their friends in their Troop. This gives the Scouts the chance to take part in activities that they might normally have trouble finding such as climbing courses, archery, or even just learning to swim.  At the same time, this gives them a chance to break away from the modern tech obsessed world to enjoy the timeless experience of living on the edge of the wilderness. Boy Scout summer camp is the experience every Scouter should enjoy as they move forward in the program.

Camp will be in session during the following weeks.

Staff Week: June 13-18, 2016
Week 1: June 19-25, 2016
Week 2: June 26-July 2, 2016
Week 3: July 3-9, 2016
Week 4: July 10-16, 2016
Week 5: July 17-23, 2016

Camper Fees

Reservation received before January 1, 2016 and following Camper Payment Plan

$270 (In Council Units) $275 (Out Council units)

Camper Payment Plan

Units that take advantage of our Camper Payment Plan will qualify for a reduced camper fee rate! To qualify, a unit must submit their $100.00 site reservation fee by January 1, 2016 and all payments must be received on time.  Joining our Camper Payment Plan will reduce the unit per youth camper fee to $270 in council units and $275 for Out Council units.   Units must register a minimum of five (5) Scouts to qualify for the Camper Payment Plan price.

All units are eligible to receive the Camper Payment Plan price if the Unit is registered and have paid the $100.00 Reservation fee and $50.00 per estimated Scout by January 1, 2016.

January 1, 2016: $50.00 per estimate Scout-This is a non-refundable fee per scout. Fees are transferable to other Scouts, as long as it is finally numbers are corrected by April 1, 2016.

February 1, 2016:$50.00 per estimate Scout-This is a non-refundable fee per scout. Fees are transferable to other Scouts, as long as it is finally numbers are corrected by April 1, 2016

March 1, 2016:$50.00 per estimate Scout-This is a non-refundable fee per scout. Fees are transferable to other Scouts, as long as it is finally numbers are corrected by April 1, 2016

April 1, 2016: $50.00 per scout (Final numbers for youth and adult, any cancellation after April 1, 2016 will be charged the        nonrefundable cancellation fees, NO exceptions)

May 1, 2016: ALL REMAINING FEES PAID IN FULL. The unit reservation if not paid in full may be cancelled unless special arrangements are made. Adults fees are due at this time. Campership will be credit, if approved to this payment.

Reservation received after January 1, 2016 but before May 1, 2016 and Unit NOT participating in the Camper Payment Plan

$280 (In Council Units) $285 (Out Council Units)

April 1, 2016: $50.00 per scout (Final numbers for youth and adult, any cancellation after April 1, 2016 will be charged the nonrefundable cancellation fees, NO exceptions)

May 1, 2016: ALL REMAINING FEES PAID IN FULL. The unit reservation if not paid in full may be cancelled unless special arrangements are made. Adults fees are due at this time. Campership will be credit, if approved to this payment.

Reservation received after May 1, 2016

$290 (In Council Units) $295 (Out Council Units)

ALL FEES PAID IN FULL ARE REQURED AT TIME OF REGISTRATION

(Any cancellation will be charged the nonrefundable cancellation fees, NO Exceptions)

 

(New Scouts and former Webelos Scouts joining the troop after the deadline will be charged the same fee as determined by the unit registration date. Keep in mind that the total weekly participants will not exceed 250 youth campers except to accommodate additional youth in pre-registered Troops.)

Adult Fees

The Youth Protection Policies of the BSA require “two-deep” leadership at all times.  One adult must be 21 years old while the -other may be 18 years old.  Each registered troop will receive “two” free adult slots. For all additional adults, a charge of $100.00 will apply.  Units may elect to exchange adults during the week with no additional charge as long as the total number of adults does not exceed the number registered. If you are attending only part of the week, one to three days, you will pay day rate of $30.00 which covers your meals and camp overhead. You will not receive a patch but you can purchase one in the Trading Post. Units bringing less than five (5) Scouts get NO free adults.

To register your Troop to attend Camp Boddie in 2016, please complete the Campsite Reservation Form (below), attach the $100 non-refundable campsite reservation deposit and send to:

Scouts that cannot attend with their Troops may submit a provisional registration form (below) to Julie Sanderson, in order to register for a spot in the Provisional Troop available each week of camp.

When office process your Reservation form you will receive your user name and password to log in to Tentaroo where units will be able to change estimated numbers and pay online.
