Shooting Sports

The Boy Scouts of America adheres to its longstanding policy of teaching its youth and adult members the safe, responsible, intelligent handling, care, and use of firearms, air guns, and BB guns in planned, carefully managed, and supervised programs.

To meet this policy, East Carolina Council has established the required Shooting Sports Committee to provide guidance, training opportunities with certified instructors, and safe controlled shooting sports programs for the Scouts of our council.
