Alumni Adventures

Re-Engage in Scouting

Relive the Scouting experience at a BSA high-adventure base! Canoe through boundary waters at Northern Tier or scale the mountains of New Mexico at Philmont Scout Ranch. You can also stay closer to home with local adventures.

You must be a registered member of the BSA to participate in an alumni adventure. To register, contact your local council to request an application.

Philmont Scout Ranch

Scale the mountains of New Mexico for the adventure you have been seeking. Backpacking, rock climbing, western lore, living history, and the views from peaks more than 10,000 feet tall make memories that last a lifetime.

Training and Education

The Philmont Training Center has provided thousands of Scouters and their families with fun, fellowship, and education. New seminars for Scouting alumni will show you what Scouts are doing today, and how you can stay active.

Northern Tier

Venture to one of the most beautiful and remote parts of North America. Canoeing, hiking, fishing, and winter camping around the beautiful lakes of northern Minnesota and southern Canada await.

Adventures in Your Area

Many BSA local councils have high-adventure bases that host Scouting alumni groups. Talk to the base near you to find out what adventures await! Some areas also have camp alumni associations. Contact your local council to learn more.
